The Will of the Father Ephesians 1:7-10

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses according to the riches of His grace which He lavished on us. In all wisdom and insight He made know to us the mystery of His will according to His kind intention which He purposed in Him with a view to an administration suitable to the fullness of the times (that is) the summing up of all things in Christ, things in the heavens and things on the earth. In Him

...He made known to us the mystery of His will...

Do I know what YHVH's will is? Paul reminds me that it is a mystery and I am not good at solving puzzles. I appreciate obvious clues to solve a mystery. (John understands me)

This is the will of Him... All He has given to Y'shua, He will lose nothing but raise it up on the last day. For this is the will of the Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him may have eternal life; and I (Y'shua) will raise him up on the last day." John 6:39-40

He will lose none! Y'shua (Jesus) came to do the will of the Father. I was born a slave to sin. So were you. Y'shua came to pay our freedom from slavery price, his innocent blood, poured out (drained) for our redemption.

Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13 Salvation is not an automatic deal that happens to everyone who was born after the resurrection. We need to choose salvation with our confession of sin (confession is agreement with the truth) and a life that reflects the walk of our Savior. Not one or the other but both. Salvation does not happen because we do all the right things (as if we could). It is the testimony of our mouth and the life that comes from our heart.

According to today's Ephesians passage, we, the redeemed, have our trespasses forgiven because He lavished loving kindness (grace) on us. What is the difference between sin and trespass? Sin is a violation of Torah (the Law). People who sin are slaves to sin. The end for them is eternal death. In English we call that death "Hell" For the born again (those redeemed by the blood) we are set on a path, The Way of the Lord. No matter how strong willed I am, no matter my determination I still break God's divine instructions (the Law). Is all the lost for me? No, that is when 1 John 1:9 shines. The will of God is kind, lavished with lovingkindness in Y'shua.

Have you discovered the will of God for your personal life?
Ask and you will receive, Seek seek and you will find, Knock and the door will be opened. Matthew 7:8
