Psalm 98

Psalm 98 is a simple song celebrating the most complex spiritual transaction in the history of history.
"O sing to YHVH (The LORD) a new song, for He has done wonderful things, His right hand and His holy arm have gained the victory for Him." Psalm 98:1
And He came , and He took (the scroll) out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne. And when He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, having each One a harp and golden bowels full of incense, which are the prayers of 'those who have dedicated their lives' (saints). And they sang a new song, singing, "Worthy art Thou to take the scroll and break its seals; for Thou was slain, and did purchase for God with Thy blood (men) from every tribe, and tongue, and people, and nation. And Thou has made them a kingdom and intercessors (priests) to our God; and they will reign upon the earth." The Revelation 5:7-10

Sin has been fully paid for. Y'shua paid the price. Because of our sin, the price we owe is our life, the draining (shedding) of our blood. Y'shua, the Son of God, never violated the Torah of God. He did not owe his own life for sin. Because of His love for you, He gave up everything to pay your bloody, excruciatingly painful, humiliating price. He gave YOU His life. You get to choose what to do with that gift. You can reject it (it makes me ill to even think of that option), you can accept it and still live for yourself (1Corinthians 3:15) or, in gratitude, you can invite Him to live His life through you. The new song (Psalm 98:1), will be your song. You will know His victory, His righteousness, His lovingkindness, and His faithfulness (Psalm 98:1-3), because you know Y'shua (Jesus our Salvation). Y'shua is coming back (Psalm 98:9). When he returns there will be joy for those who have dedicated their lives for Him. They will be judged "good." The rest will be judged according to how they followed Y'shua. It will not be about more good deeds then bad, in fact deeds are for reward, not for salvation. If you reject the gift of His life for yours then your only option is to pay what you owe. Live for Him! Your only other options involve fire, either the fire of removing dross (1Corinthians 3:15) or of the fire of eternal death. I say it again, Live for Jesus, by giving Him daily sovereignty of your life through prayer.
