Psalm 111

A is for Apple.
B is for ball.

Who hasn't put a child on their lap (or sat in a lap) to give the basic elements of communicating our language skills? I am at Psalm 111 today. It is an acrostic song meaning that it is an ABC or, in Hebrew, an ALEPH, BET, GIMEL

Language is the gift of connection between God and man, not just men to men. In the Hebrew alphabet (aleph-bet) letters do not just represent sounds, they are also pictographs of concepts that the letter represents. Each letter has a numeric value but that is for another day.

Sit close to Abba's heart and listen to the PsalmOfTheDay
